A Focus on product development followed Northwave producing the first ever winter shoes with Gore-Tex in 2005 with the new Fahrenheit and Celsius models. Moving into 2013, Northwave took a bold step to re-design the dial closure system with their own patented SLW2 dial. This dial is still the only product offering step-by-step adjustment and complete opening through just one button.
